My love for art began at a very young age, perhaps it was part of growing up within a family of artist or the many beauties Montana has to offer that inspired me to further develop my gift, whatever it may have been it pushed me to reach deep within myself and allowed me to create exceptional art for the world to enjoy.
I joined the United States Navy when I was 20 years old, this not only allowed me get out of my comfort zone and explore new territories but it enhance my view as to what beauty is and how to portray it and make people fall in love with it through my sculptures. FastTrack 16 years later, I retired from the Navy but my true love and inspiration brought me back to Montana.
Art has always been a very special part of my life, it was a gift I wanted to share with the people I loved, my family. It was not something I wanted to pursue as a career, it was just something I was good at and loved doing. Art was and still is, my escape from the real world, everything is more beautiful when you can make it last forever. In 2013, I watched a friend working on a vehicle using a plasma cutter. As I watched him I became infatuated with the sight of metal melting and bending with fire, so I purchased his plasma cutter and the rest is history.
Most of my art is based on nature scenes, business signs and special customer requests. My metal art started as flat metal art but with the years I have managed to perfect my techniques and allow myself to explore the option of 3 dimensional pieces. The majority of my art is based on two out of three things I love, nature and the love for my country.
I have traveled to many places but none compare to beautiful Montana, a state I am grateful to call my home.
